…begins with a first step, right? Well of course it does and my journey down John Thornhill’s Partnership to Success program certainly feels like a journey of at least a thousand miles! If you aren’t familiar with John Thornhill, he is an internet marketer from England whom I have followed for many years. He is an example of a classic “rags to riches” journey and is a model of integrity. His “Partnership to Success” program is his top-shelf coaching program where he teaches people like me how to be an internet marketer. He teaches techniques that are timeless and doesn’t try to dazzle anyone with “shiny object syndrome.” He expects his students to work hard and, while nothing is ever guaranteed, he provides a path that enhances one’s chance of succeeding.
Anyway, I took the first step by enrolling in his program and starting this blog. Check. Check. This blog post actually represents an assignment that he gave us/me in week 2. Well, life has gotten in the way a bit. Christmas holidays, a million and one projects at work and an intense effort towards building my Amazon business (more on that in future posts) and next thing I know, I look up and he is now on WEEK SIXTEEN and here I am still stuck on week 2. So what does that say about journeys of a thousand miles? It means that, yes they do begin with a first step, but they also often involve stumbles and even heading off on the wrong road temporarily.
That’s OK. What is important when that happens is for a person (me in this case) to not give up but to simply get back on track, roll up one’s sleeves, and getting going once again. That’s what this blog post represents. I have gotten going once again! I hope you, my readers, are willing to share this journey with me. I hope that we can develop, just like Mr. Thornhill has, our own “Partnership to Success.” Who’s game?
